Gregg Perry

Gregg R. Perry, age 66, of Owatonna, MN and formerly of Faribault, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Gregg Robinson, the son of Gregg and Billie (Howard) Perry, was born on August 25, 1954 in Honolulu, HI. Gregg grew up in California and graduated from Homestead High School with the Class of 1973. He served in the U.S. Army. Gregg lived in many places before settling in Faribault, MN. He moved back to California for a short time before moving back to Owatonna, MN. He worked for Climate by Design in Owatonna. While he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, watching football, being outside doing yardwork, spending time with family and building model cars, airplanes, and boats.

Gregg is survived by his mother, Billie Perry of Honolulu, HI; children, Jim (Jessica) Perry of Lakeville, Wesley Perry of Honolulu, HI, HeatherRae (Gary) Wendt of Lakeville, Jamie (Randy) Sager of LeRoy and April Williamson; ten grandchildren, Aleighna and Nason Haberkorn, Aeriana, Clarice and Theron Wendt, Louis Perry, Shanoah, McKenna and Brock Sager, and Genesis Foust; brother, Matthew Perry; sister, Rachel Bixby; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gregg; and wife, Zelda De Frang.

Memorial Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis on Wednesday, December 16th  at 9:30 a.m. and we will gather at assembly area 4.
