Gladys Reisdorfer

Gladys A. Reisdorfer, age 90, of Faribault, MN, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at her home.

Gladys Ann was born on June 20, 1930 in Iona, MN to John and Theresa (Weyker) Schoo. She married Walter Reisdorfer on June 12, 1952 at St. Columba Church.  Gladys enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing card games, (especially Farkle), going to the casino, and spending the winters in Arizona. She was a devout Catholic, regularly attending services in Faribault and Medford.

She is survived by her son, Mark J. (Donna) Reisdorfer of Sellersburg, IN; son-in-law, Patrick (Barb) Snyder of Brule, NE; grandchildren, John (Tracy) Snyder (and children, Wyatt, Kinley and Madison) of Colorado Springs, CO, Matthew (Kelsi) Snyder (and Jaide) of Anchorage, AK; step-grandchildren, Chris (Leah) Hadden (and children Gabby, Max, and Nora) of Omaha, NE, and Kayla (Paul) Wahlmeier (and children Grace, Ethan and Ava) of Omaha, NE; a sister, Rusty Fahle; a brother, Joe (Kay) Schoo; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Schoo.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, and daughters Debra Ann Reisdorfer and Terese (Terri) Snyder; her parents; nine siblings, Adelaide Meyer, Mildred Russell, Jack Schoo, Donna Mae Deegan, LaVonne Redmond, Phillip Schoo, James Schoo, Ronald Schoo and Leon Schoo.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Fr. James Starasinich, pastor of Christ the King Catholic Church in Medford, officiating.  Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
