Geraldine Jacky

Geraldine (Mrs. Louis) Jacky, age 83 of Faribault, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Infinia of Faribault Health Care Center.   Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, at Immaculate Conception in Faribault with the Rev. Michael Kaluza officiating.  Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.   Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to services.   The family prefers that memorials be directed to Bethlehem Academy High School.   Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault.   Geraldine Barbara Brucher, the daughter of Walter M. and Agnes (Fischer) Brucher, was born on January 25, 1925 in St. Paul, MN.  She attended Bethlehem Academy and graduated with the class of 1942.  Following high school she attended St. Benedict College.  On April 25, 1946 she was united in marriage to Louis A. Jacky at the Immaculate Conception Church in Faribault.  Mr. Jacky preceded her in death on August 31, 2006.  Geraldine was a devoted wife and home maker all of her married life.  She enjoyed being with her husband and with family.  Geraldine enjoyed flowers and made several photo albums recording family history.   She is survived by her brother in law, Robert L. Dubé of Faribault; by nieces and nephews, Barbara (Harlan) Handahl of Faribault, Roberta (Larry) Furland of Crystal, Sandra Erickson of Faribault, Jeffery Dubé of Owatonna, Gregory (Roxie) Dubé of Owatonna, Patricia Jane (Bruce) Bullert of Nogal, NM, Walter (Patty) Dubé of Faribault, Joseph (Debra) Dubé of Waseca and Robert L. Dubé Jr. of Owatonna; by many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews and other relatives.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her sister, Patricia Dubé, her nephew, Robert Timothy Dubé and by her great great niece, Brook Nicole Mier.
