Georgia C. Duhme, age 84 formerly of Morristown, died on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Clare Bridge of Owatonna. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 15th at 7:00 p.m. at McRaith Funeral Home in Waseca with Rev. Elden Eklund officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Morristown. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service at McRaith Funeral Home in Waseca. Georgia Carol was born on February 19, 1924 in Rice County, Minnesota to Frank and Hattie (Neuenburg) Tegmeier. She was a 1942 graduate of Morristown High School. On August 29, 1948 Georgia was united in marriage to Melvin Duhme of Maquoketa, Iowa. Georgia lived most of her life in Morristown. Over the years she was employed at various places including 21 years at the Faribault Regional Center, retiring in 1989. In the fall of 1991 Georgia moved to Waseca. She loved time spent with her grandchildren, and enjoyed bus tours throughout the U.S. She is survived by her children Dennis (Loly) Duhme of Maquoketa, IA, Dale Duhme of Sioux Falls, SD, David (Bev) Duhme of Morristown, and Darlene (Steve) Luther of Waseca; by her grandchildren Andrew and Alex Duhme, Charlotte and Thad Duhme, Matthew (Stephanie) Duhme, Mark (Chrissy) Duhme, Luke and Jon Duhme, Ben and Chelsey Luther; by her great grandson Hayden Duhme; by her sister-in-law Arlene Tegmeier of Morristown and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Glenn and Gerald.
