George M. Bultman

George M. Bultman, age 69 of Faribault, MN passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at his home.

George Michael, the son of Gerald and Wilhelmina (Reuvers) Bultman, was born on December 20, 1955 in Faribault, MN. He grew up on the family farm outside of Faribault and attended Country School before graduating from the Faribault High School with the Class of 1974. He then attended Vocational School in Winona and became a CPA. He met the love of his life, Betty Hall, at a party outside of Nerstrand and they were united in marriage on August 20, 1977 in Northfield, MN. George worked at Reese Winter & Associates as a CPA and part owner. When he wasn’t working, George enjoyed hunting with his chocolate labs, fishing, gambling, and spending time with his family. He loved being a grandpa to his three grandchildren. He always wanted to take care of his wife in every possible way. He was Mr. Fix It to all his friends and anyone else who needed help. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose 2098, Fraternal Order of Eagles #1460, and Elks Lodge 1166.

George is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Sarah (Andre) Sheats and Michael (Ashley) Bultman; grandchildren, Ethan and Derek Bultman and Ella Sheats; siblings, Lucille Bultman, Charles Bultman, Carol (Steve) McHugo, Arthur Bultman, Judy Bultman, Joan Bultman and Patrick (Lisa) Bultman; and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, sisters, Irene Smisek, Janet Bultman, and Marion Brakke and three brothers, Jerome, David and William Bultman.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment will follow at Valley Grove Cemetery, Nerstrand, MN.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Everyone is invited to the Faribault Eagles to toast George following the interment.
