Gary Hensel

Gary M. Hensel, age 44, of Faribault, MN, died unexpectedly on October 6, 2015, at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday for one hour prior to the services.

Gary Martin was born on December 21, 1970 in Faribault to Dennis and Kathy (Walker) Hensel. After attending the Faribault High School, Gary worked in various trade positions. He was a very talented self-taught mechanic. Gary could fix or modify anything from cars, to snowmobiles, to his biggest love motorcycles. Most recently, Gary worked as a welder for Freerksen Trucking in Dodge Center, MN, which speaks to his natural abilities to fix and repair anything. He loved the thrill of driving anything fast including mountain bikes. Gary will be remembered in black Levi's and a Harley t-shirt, which was his self-proclaimed uniform.

Gary is survived by his parents, Dennis and Kathy Hensel of Faribault; sister, Gina (Chad) McGuire of Owatonna; niece and nephew, Alexandra and Walker McGuire of Owatonna; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herb Walker, Irene Walker Trahan, and Ruby Hensel; and aunt, Debbie Walker.
