Gail O'Connor

Gail O’Connor, age 58, of West St. Paul, MN and formerly of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 30, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault.  Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are being completed with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home of Faribault.

Gail Imelda was born on November 25, 1960 in Faribault, MN to Floyd and Mary Alice (McFadden) O’Connor.  She graduated from Bethlehem Academy High School with the class of 1979.  Gail was the caregiver for her younger sister for many years.  She loved to cook and discovering different recipes that would make her food taste great.  Gail also loved her cats.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Alice O’Connor; siblings, Darlene O’Connor (Mike Johnson), Gene O’Connor, Carol (Daniel) Schacht, Wayne (Mary) O’Connor, Byron (Linda) O’Connor, Elaine Mach, Yvon Lynch (John Lynch), Noreen Sevcik, Patrick O’Connor, Lyndon (Bernadette Walter) O’Connor, Sheila O’Connor, and Kevin (Kristen) O’Connor; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd; sister, Kathleen O’Connor; and brother-in-law, Lester Sevcik.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Academy in memory of Gail.
