Frederick Moore

Frederick D. “Fred” Moore, age 84 of Kenyon and formerly of Faribault, passed away at the Kenyon Sunset Home on Monday, February 18, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault.  Interment will be held at the Worthington Cemetery, Worthington, MN.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

Fred was born on May 31, 1934 in Sioux City, Iowa.  He was a farmer in his younger years.  He also did odd jobs such as cleaning & doing dishes.  Fred always loved driving his lawn mower around town when he lived in Faribault.  He enjoys visiting with others, helping in the garden, counting for exercise group while living at the Sunset Home & being able to fix things.  He always had a smile on his face.  He enjoyed cheering on the Twins in baseball and the Vikings in football.  He loved animals, especially his “pet” dog, Kitty.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
