Franklin J. Schoeb, age 63 of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Cleveland and Waseca, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at Kindred Hospital-Greensboro, North Carolina.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, December 14th from 1 to 3 P.M. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca, followed by a 3:00 P.M. Rite of Christian Burial with Fr. Martin Schaefer, officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Waseca's Calvary Cemetery.
Franklin Joseph was born February 8, 1949 in St. Peter, Minnesota to Carl and Phyllis (Hart) Schoeb. He graduated from Cleveland High School and went on to attend Hennepin County Technical College in Minneapolis. Frank served in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany during his tour of duty. On October 10, 1979 he was united in marriage to Debra Ann Spies at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. Frank and Deb resided in Waseca where Frank began a long career in the printing industry with Brown Printing Company. His career took them to Corinth, Mississippi, and in 1997 to Charlotte, North Carolina. Following his wife's death in 2004, Frank has continued to reside in Charlotte.
He is survived by his brother, Roger (Myrna) Schoeb of St. Peter; sister, Rita (Jim) Siefert of Savage; brother-in-law, Leo Spies of Waseca; sister-in-law, Carol Sell of Owatonna; many nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Deb; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Mary (Collins) Spies; sister-in-law, Sandy Spies.
