Frank L. Linaman, age 84, of Faribault, MN passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be held at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault with Military Honors provided by the Rice County Central Veterans Organization.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Frank Lambert, the son of Fred and Agnes (Megears) Linaman, was born on October 10, 1933 in Harmony, MN. He attended school in Spring Valley, MN. Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge from the Army he was united in marriage to Linda Sargent and they had three children. They later divorced. Frank's work career began as farm hand working for John Holmes at his farm. He loved farming and the work that came with it. He also worked as a machine operator at the Faribault Woolen Mill and ended his working career as a delivery driver for ABC Building Center in Rochester, MN. Frank enjoyed going on car rides, gardening and spending time outdoors. He especially enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by three children, Tammy (Jay) Schreck of Faribault, MN, Thomas (Becky) Linaman of Osseo, WI and Tracy (Rick) Maas of Faribault, MN; by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; by four siblings, Donna (Paul) Merkel of Spring Valley, MN, Donald (Lola) Linaman of Las Vegas, NV, Jim Linaman of Arizona and Ben Linaman of Kenyon, MN; by the mother of his children Linda Sargent of Faribault, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, his twin brother, Freddy Linaman, Louie Linaman and Helen Winslow and by his best friend, Harley Charlie Grassinger.
