Evelyn Crill

Evelyn Barbara Lachvayder Crill, age 94, of Faribault, MN, passed away November 20, 2015, at the St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, March 4, 1921 to Frank and Anna (Gromovsky) Lachvayder. She married Davison E. Crill in Cleveland, Ohio on March 5, 1946. Barb's first passion was her three boys and her husband followed by her career. Barb earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Biological Sciences from Flora Stone Mather College of Western Reserve University. She began her career with Standard Oil Co. from 1943 to 1950 as a Shift Supervisor; 1964-1986 with Economics Laboratory as a lab technician, lab supervisor and manager of regulatory services. Barb was a member of different professional organizations including, the American Chemical Society, Chemical Specialties Mfg. Association, ASTM, American Microbiological Society, Henrici Microbiological Society, American Veterinary Medical Association Aux., American Public Health Association, National Center for Disease Control - Food Services, Association for Infection Control, National Honor Society and Delta PSI Omega Society.

She is survived by sons, Jeffery Allen (Linda), Ross William (Ivy) and Roger Owen (Maureen); grandchildren, James, Jennifer, Nick, Ashley, Gina, Christopher, Doug, Grace, Amber, Andrea, Aaron, Alyssa, Bridget and Colleen; great grandchildren, Haley, Sunthear, Seneca, Owen, Ellie, Sophis, Micah and Madelyn.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dave DVM, parents Frank & Anna Lachvayder, brothers Albert and Frank, sister Lillian Kriss.
