Ernest W. Juaire, age 88 of Kenyon, MN passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Kenyon Sunset Home following an extended illness.
Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault officiated by Father Joseph Forcelle. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Faribault. For those unable to attend, the service will be lived streamed through a link found on Ernest's obituary page.

Ernest Walter, the son of Wilfred and Evelyn (Gagnon) Juaire, was born on June 19, 1931 in Faribault, MN. On June 15, 1957 he was united in marriage to Carol Forcelle at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault. Ernie worked for the railroad for a short time and for seven years was with Minneapolis Moline. Later he worked for 26 years at Genova. During that time he also did custodial work at the VFW and St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kenyon. Ernie was also an active volunteer at St. Michael’s. Ernie enjoyed cookouts with his family, working in his wood shop making furniture, wooden puzzles and marble racers for his grandchildren. He enjoyed “Sunday drives”, putting puzzles together, playing solitaire, cribbage, euchre, Pfeffer and bingo. Visiting his siblings in Brainerd was always a joy and he loved observing owls.
He is survived by his wife Carol Juaire of Kenyon; by four children, Tony Juaire of Faribault, Lorie (John) St. Clair of Faribault, Andy Juaire and special friend, Elsie Viola of South Carolina and Tim Juaire of Kenyon, MN; by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; by ten siblings, Jane (Bob) Rager of Vitondale, PA, Ella Mitchell of Northfield, MN, Roger (Ann) Juaire of Cold Spring, MN, Bernard Juaire of Brainerd, MN, Al (Marcia) Juaire of Richfield, MN, Duwayne (June) Juaire of Brainerd, Carol Juaire of Brainerd, Marilyn (John) Gregerson of Brainerd, Clinton (Louise) Juaire of Morton, ND and Lyle (Wendy) Juaire of Brainerd; by special friend Delia Juaire of Faribault and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four children, Cindy Bruegger, Charles Juaire, Dean VanHoudt and Christopher Juaire, by his brother, James Juaire and his sister, Catherine Nelson.
