Erlis Ann (Wilson) Hausen, age 85, of Faribault, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Faribault Commons following brief illness with her daughters, Barbi, Jeanne, and son, Jerry at her side. Memorial services will be announced later. The ashes of Erlis and Francis (Blondie) will be buried together at St. Lawrence Cemetery. Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault. Erlis Ann, the daughter of Shorty and Barbra (Spartz) Wilson, was born January 24, 1925 in Faribault, Minnesota. Erlis married Blondie Hausen on February 19, 1951 in Oakland CA. She was employed most of her life as a waitress in various supper clubs in the Brainerd area until retirement in 1980. At this time she moved to Arizona retuning to Faribault in 1998 after the passing of Blondie. Erlis is survived by eight sons, Steve (Diana) Schull of Faribault, Joseph Hausen of Farmington, George (Corine) Hausen of Faribault, Bernie (Peggy) Hausen of Waseca, Robert Hausen of Morristown, Jerry Hausen of Warsaw, Larry (Nancy) Hausen of Oregon, and Dan (Joy) Ostland of Warroad; four daughters, Judy (Thomas) Simons of Oregon, Jeanne (Leroy) Schmidtke of Faribault, Lillian (Bill) Schalow of Glendale, AZ, and Barbi (Charlie) Hanegraaf of Faribault; sister, Audrey Craig of Faribault; sister-in-law, Dolly Wilson of Faribault; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Blondie; infant daughter; son, Layne; two brothers, Gene Wilson and Lawrence Peltier; and one grandson, Layne Schmidtke.
