Earl Pofahl

Earl F. "Bud" Pofahl, age 87 passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018.
Visitation at 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with funeral service to follow on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. Faribault. Interment will be held at the Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers that memorials be directed to a charity of the donor's choice in memory of Bud.
Earl Francis, the son of Earl E. and Mary (Jeno) Pofahl, was born on January 19, 1930 in Faribault, MN. He graduated Faribault High School in 1947. Earl served in the U.S. Air Force. On October 25, 1952 he was married to Norma Tuter in Belleville, IL. Norma preceded him in death on Nov. 18, 1994. In 1954, Earl started Modern TV Service retiring recently. He also enjoyed dancing with Norma, down hill skiing, motorcycling, astronomy and computer programming.
He is survived by his five children, Earl S. (Diane) Pofahl of Faribault, Michael (Mary) Pofahl of Faribault, Kaarina "Kathy" Mindaly of Minneapolis, MN, Gregory Pofahl of Faribault and Elizabeth Pofahl-Reed (Daryl) of Helena, MT; by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; by two sisters, Vivian Jones of Faribault and Joan (Ray) Minke of Long Prairie, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Robert Pofahl and two sisters, Doris Karow and Patricia Bongers.
