E. Howard Ganiere, age 72 of Waterville, formerly of New Richland, died suddenly on Friday, June 29, 2012 at his residence in Waterville.             Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 3rd at 6:30 P.M. at St. Peter Cemetery in New Richland, Minnesota with Rev. Dr. Larry Griffin, officiating.              Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 6 P.M. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home in Janesville.             Howard was born on June 14, 1940 in Waseca, Minnesota to Ernest and Florence (Dobie) Ganiere. Howard was a 1958 graduate of New Richland High School. On August 9, 1959 he was united in marriage to Janet Jacobsen at St. John's Lutheran Church in Danville Township near Minnesota Lake. Howard and Janet farmed and raised their family in New Richland. Over the years he was employed in Waseca with Brown Printing, E.F. Johnson Company, and retired in 2002 from Emerson in Waseca. Howard enjoyed collecting Red Wing Pottery, gardening, and following the Minnesota Vikings. He most enjoyed time spent with his granddaughters and great granddaughter.              He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda (Jeff) Drenckhahn of Altura, and Roxanne (Todd) Herold of Janesville; by his granddaughters Melissa, Mallory and Molly Drenckhahn, Heather and Hannah Herold, and his great granddaughter Ava Evers; by his very special friend, Lorraine Lyons of Waterville; by many nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.               He was preceded in death by his wife Janet in 1995; by his parents; by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Julius and Viola Jacobsen.             Casketbearers are: James Krohn, Gary Denn, Gregg Schoneck, Rick Schultz, Kyle Wakefield, Dan Simon, Henry Van Houdt, and Andy Evers.             Honorary bearers are: Gary Cooper, Dennis Woitas, Larry Wakefield, Paul Anderson, and Troy Herring.             McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Waseca is honored to assist the Ganiere Family.
