Donna Williams

Donna A. Williams, age 87 of Janesville, died on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Immanuel-St. Joseph's Mayo Health System in Mankato.   Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Janesville United Methodist Church in Janesville with Rev. Bescye P. Burnett, officiating. Interment will be in the Minneopa Cemetery, rural Mankato.   Visitation will be held on Monday morning from 9:30 until the hour of service, at Janesville United Methodist Church. Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home of Janesville is handling arrangements.    Donna Arlene was born on July 5, 1922 in Chandler, Minnesota to Fred and Mabel (Krusemark) Doms. She graduated from Mankato High School, and went on to attend Mankato Teachers College. Donna was united in marriage to Robert Williams on April 21, 1973 at the Methodist Church in North Mankato. Donna and Robert have resided in rural Janesville. She was a member of the Janesville United Methodist Church. Donna enjoyed playing Scrabble, her flowers, and vegetable gardening.    She is survived by her husband Robert of Janesville; by her daughter Donna (Larry) Schmit of Hastings, and her sons David (Jean) Walterman of Winthrop, and Scott Walterman of Charlotte, NC; by her nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild; by her brother Leland Doms of New Mexico.   She was preceded in death by her parents; by her sisters Lois Bradshaw, and Phyllis Hansel.   Casketbearers are: Rod Walterman, Kurt Lang, Duane Walterman, Chris Will, and Mitchel Will.
