Donald P. Mullerleile, age 70, of Warsaw, MN, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at the District One Hospital in Faribault.
Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Faribault Church of Christ, 937 9th Ave. SW, Faribault.
Interment with military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Donald Peter was born on May 10, 1945 in Mankato, MN to Walter and Agnes (Reinhart) Mullerleile. He graduated from Janesville High School and served in the U.S Army during the Vietnam War. In 1963, Donald was honorably discharged from the Army and continued in the Reserves until 1967. He was united in marriage to Catherine Wasmund on July 7, 1979 in Mankato. Donald worked his entire career in HVAC, mostly with Brad Luiken of Faribault. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Donald was a member of the Morristown American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Mullerleile of Warsaw; daughters, Sara Mullerleile of Warsaw and Jennifer (Matt) Porter of Chesapeake, VA; brother, Bruce Mullerleile of Morristown, MN; sister, Shelby (David) Adams of Florida; mother-in-law, Darlene Wasmund of Warsaw; brothers-in-law, Ronald Wasmund of Hastings, MN, Michael (Pam) Wasmund of Oak Harbor, WA, Larry (Paula) Wasmund of Cleveland, MN, and Gary (Jennifer) Wasmund of Thompson, Iowa; sisters-in-law, Sarah Wasmund of Northfield, MN and Elizabeth Wasmund of Oklahoma City, OK; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Agnes; four brothers, Dudley, James, Walter, and his twin, David Mullerleile; and father-in-law, Dale Wasmund.
Funeral arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.
