Dijon O'Brien-Lehman, age 58, of Faribault, MN, passed away June 5, 2016, at the St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester following a brief illness.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault. Following the burial, a reception will be held at North Alexander Park Shelter #1.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Dijon Christie was born on August 26, 1957, in Würzburg, Germany, and days later adopted by Eugene and Donna Mae (Christie) Fremouw. She graduated from Wabasha High School and attended Winona State University. Dijon worked for her father's photography business, Gene's Studio in Wabasha, Lake City, and New Prague. Most of her career has been in customer service with that last 12 years at WalMart in Faribault. Prior to that she worked at SuperAmerica, Kwik Trip, and Weinberger Well Drilling Service. She loved people and made an impact on many. Dijon was married to Kenneth J. Lehman on September 12, 2015.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Lehman of Faribault; her father, Eugene Fremouw of Faribault; her children (Pets), dog - Spunkie, and cats, Angel and Bobo; brother, Lance Fremouw of Faribault; foster brother, Robert (Betty) Holt of Wisconsin, among many foster siblings; nephews, Lance Fremouw Jr., and Andrew (Tessa) La Jeunesse and niece, Adrienne Swartwoudt; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna; and second husband, Jay O'Brien.
