Dianne Tousignant

Dianne M. Tousignant, age 76 of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 25, 2016, at her home.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the church. There will be no viewing at the church on Friday.

Memorials may be directed to the River Bend Nature Center in memory of Dianne.

Dianne M. was born on May 21, 1940 in Faribault to Raymond and Marcella (Shevlin) Forcelle. She graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1959. Dianne was united in marriage to Ronald Tousignant on August 19, 1967 in Faribault. She was homemaker for her family, worked as a Real Estate agent for many years, and at Dayton's in Southdale for 10 years. She then worked with the Northfield City Beautification Crew until her retirement. Dianne dedicated herself as a volunteer at Divine Mercy Church as an usher, Eucharistic Minister, and was faithful at the Adoration Chapel. She also volunteered at the River Bend Nature Center where she was recognized as a master naturalist, and delivered Meals on Wheels. Diane loved traveling, especially to lighthouses. She also enjoyed boating, jet skiing, nature walks, flower gardening, coin collecting, and car rides.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Tousignant of Faribault; daughters, Shawn (Robert) Hendel of Mankato, Kelley Tousignant of Faribault, and Shannon (José) Ponce of Ontario, CA; grandchildren, Kieran and Braeden Hendel; brothers, Alan (Marian) Forcelle of Sheridan, WY, Joseph (Shirley) Forcelle of Faribault, and Dale Forcelle of Faribault; sisters, Joan (Wally) Thompson of Faribault, and Fern Forcelle of North Mankato, MN; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jay Patrick Tousignant; brother, Mark Forcelle; parents, Raymond and Marcella; father and mother-in-law, Phillip and Josephine "Toots" Tousignant; and sister-in-law, Sherry Forcelle.
