Diane R. Campbell, age 62, of Owatonna passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at The Gardens at Cannon Falls.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca with Pastor Paige Whitney officiating.
Diane Rochelle, daughter of Robert and Olga (Lagerquist) Campbell, was born on January 8, 1954 in Devils Lake, North Dakota. Her family moved to Waseca in 1957. Diane attended school in Waseca before her family moved to Albert Lea. She then graduated from Albert Lea High School. She attended college at Winona State University before moving to the Twin Cities to work at the University of Minnesota. Diane later started her own business as a conference coordinator. Diane loved animals, especially her horses and cats. She also loved music, as she was the lead singer in a band that played throughout the Twin Cities. She enjoyed travelling and was a very strong willed, independent woman with a witty sense of humor.
Diane is survived by her sister, Yvonne Schwab of Devils Lake, ND and by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sharon Killday-Hall; brother, Howard Campbell; and sister in infancy, Denise.
