David Stadler

David A. (Judd) Stadler, age 66, of Faribault, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at his home.   Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Dr., Faribault. Interment will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.   Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services at the church.   David Allen Stadler, the son of Albert and Leona (Durand) Stadler, was born on February 15, 1945 in Iowa Falls, Iowa. When he was a small child his family moved to Faribault where he has resided all of his life. Judd was married to Rebecca Kern, they had three children and were later divorced. He later married Vickie Greenslade on December 18, 1993 in Branson, Missouri. Judd worked as a union plasterer for over 30 years for Local 65. He enjoyed being with people, whether it was playing cards or horseshoes, time at the cabin, or just being with his grandchildren, family, and friends. He was a member of the Faribault Moose Lodge No. 2098 and the Faribault Aerie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagles.   He is survived by his wife, Vickie Stadler of Faribault; three children, Jackie Stadler Salaba (Ronald), Ricky (Tina) Stadler, and Randy (Tonja) Stadler, all of Faribault; grandchildren, Jessica, Haley, Adam, Derek, Laney, Paige, Karli, Reed, Olivia, Isaac, Grace, Dax, Terry, Hayden, Haylee, and Uriah; step children, Camey Stadler (special friend, Jeff Thibodeau), and Ryan (Karey) Stadler; brothers, Donnie, Kenny (Amber), Ronnie (Denise), Robert "Bucky" (Linda), and Bill (Francine), all of Faribault; sisters, Eunice Mahagnoul, Pat Knott, and Barb Savoie, all of Faribault, and Audrey Stephens of Port Arthur, TX; and many other relatives and friends.   He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harry, Paul, and Herbie; sisters, Doris Goodknight and Phyllis Ress; infant sisters, Margie and Pamela; and grandson, Blake Stadler.
