David Rech

David R. Rech, age 63, of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the new location of Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault on Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church.

David Robert was born on December 25, 1953, in Faribault to Ervin and Lorraine (DuChene) Rech. He graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1972. David was married to Mary Kay Stanton on August 31, 1974, they had four daughters and were later divorced. He was a longtime employee with Daikin in Faribault, just recently completing 45 years of employment. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, caring for his yard, and hanging out with his grandkids and family.

He is survived by his daughters, Tonia (Corey) Warmington, Christie Rech, Mindy (Cam) Racine, and Ashley Rech; 10 grandchildren, Madison and Jackson, Mano and John, Brady and Brooke, Skyla, Darrion, Quintin, and Alantis; six siblings, Jim (Diane) Rech, Dick (Dar) Rech, Kenny (Diane) Rech, Mary Kay Thompson, Joyce (Gil) Ross, and his twin brother, Dale (Debbie) Rech; and many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Lorraine; sister, Beverly Hansen; and brother-in-law, Randy Thompson.
