David Paquette

David J. Paquette, age 64, of Faribault, MN passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on May 5, 2016.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday May 14, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be held at the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, May 13th, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will continue on Saturday at Divine Mercy for one hour prior to services.

David John was born on June 25, 1951 in Northfield, MN to Donald J. and Rose (Langer) Paquette. He attended Bethlehem Academy in Faribault and graduated with the class of 1969. He worked in sales at Paquette Homes, ABC Bus, and Furlong Motors. He also worked at Itron in Waseca and most recently after his retirement he enjoyed working at the HyVee Market Cafe.

David loved watching Nascar and solving the daily crossword. He especially enjoyed the sunsets and pontoon rides at the lake with family and friends. He was an active member of the Faribault Elks Club where he enjoyed spending time with his many Elks friends.

David is survived by his children, Naomi (Richard) Shea and their son, Sam, and Benjamin Upin-Paquette; his mother, Rose Paquette of Faribault; his siblings, Karen (Doug) Stehling of Black Mountain, NC, Steven Paquette (Janet Timmers) of Faribault, Diane McDaniel of Shoreview, MN, Richard (Gail) Paquette of Faribault, and Jean (Ron) McDonough of Faribault; and his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald J. Paquette.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in memory of Dave.
