David E. Kolterman, age 60, of Faribault, died Saturday, August 9, 2008 at his home, following an extended illness. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Private services and interment with military honors will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. David Eugene Kolterman, the son of William and Margaret (Zahn) Kolterman, was born on April 20, 1948 in Faribault. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. From his military service he had a disability but worked various jobs in Faribault. He is survived by two sisters, Rosann Noble and Kathleen Kolterman, both of Faribault; two brothers, Robert Kolterman of Faribault and Richard Kolterman of Las Vegas, NV; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, William, Kenneth, Gerald, Donald, and Terry Kolterman; and two sisters, Geraldine Hendrickson and Edith Kolterman.
