David Stadler

August 24, 1942 — January 13, 2010

David C. Stadler, age 67 of Dewey, AZ and former of Faribault, MN, passed in peace on January 13, 2010 with his wife Kathy at his side.    Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, with Chris Sorensen, pastoral minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault, officiating. Interment at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault will be held at a later date.    Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.    David Charles Stadler, the youngest of seven children of Charles and Mary (Ellerbusch) Stadler was born on August 24, 1942 in Faribault. He was married to Kathleen Manwarren on October 24, 1972 in Mason City, Iowa. David worked for 25 years at the Faribault Regional Center, retiring in 1995. He later worked at the Straight River Golf Course in his retirement. In 2004, he and Kathy retired to Arizona to enjoy mild winters. David had a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing. In later years he learned to golf and enjoyed golfing with family and friends.    He is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Patrick Stadler (Kim) of Grand Rapids MN;  daughter, Susan Hachey (Del) of Witicha KS; four loving grandchildren, Bob, Brandon, Katie, Kelly and four great grandchildren, Dylan, Brooke, Loren and Abby; two sisters, Elaine Manthey of Faribault and Sue Gudim of Palmdale, CA; and other relatives and friends.      He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Erdeen Fabbri; and three brothers, Gerald, and Ronald, and Marvin who passed away shortly after Dave.    In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to hospice or charity of choice.
