Dalton L. Heyer

Dalton L. Heyer, age 30, of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on October 4, 2024.

Dalton Lee was born on June 8, 1994, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Gene and Julie (Schmaltz) Heyer. He was raised in Faribault and graduated from Faribault High School. Dalton worked construction for different companies, including R.A.W. Construction. He loved spending time outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding or grilling. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his son, Walker.

He is survived by his son, Walker Lee Heyer; his past partner and Walker’s mom, Kianna Thomson; niece and nephew, Divinity and Dayton; aunts and uncles; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Heyer and Julie Larish; and brothers, Dylan and Chad.

Burial will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.

Kianna will be hosting a celebration of life for Dalton at a later date.
