Dale Jandro

Dale L. Jandro, age 81 of Faribault, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Milestone Senior Living in Faribault.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault. Interment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault with military honors provided by the Rice County Central Veterans Organization.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and at the church on Monday for one hour prior to services.

Dale Lennard, the son of Edward and Elizabeth (Vandeputte) Jandro, was born on December 13, 1935 at their family farm in Walcott Township, Rice County, MN. Dale attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1954. After high school Dale served in the U.S. Army and during his service time was united in marriage to Patricia Raskob on September 7, 1955 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Faribault. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Dale owned and operated Jandro Distributing for 40 years until his retirement. Pat preceded him in death on August 28, 2015. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, gardening, landscaping, playing cards, watching wrestling, going to car shows and spending time with all of his family. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 889 and the American Legion Post 43.

He is survived by his children, Terry (Melissa) Jandro of Faribault, MN, Ben Jandro of Morristown, MN, Bill Jandro of Bagley, WI and Lisa (Mike) Elwood of Faribault, MN; by grandchildren, Jake (Beth) Jandro, Holly Jandro, Dane (Brenda) Elwood, Seth Elwood, Elia Elwood, Charley Elwood, Tommy Elwood, Devin Jandro, Kaeli Jandro and Karli Jandro; by great grandchildren, Jaxson Jandro, Hunter Jandro, Taven Jandro, Noen Jandro, Dominic Elwood, Kiara Elwood and Leah Elwood; by siblings, Walter (Ramona) Jandro of Owatonna, MN, Lois Malecha of Faribault, MN, Thomas (Phyllis) Jandro of Faribault, MN, Alfred (Edith) Jandro of Owatonna, MN, Elizabeth Mullenberg of Faribault, MN, Diane (James) Rech of Faribault, MN, Joseph (Sandra) Jandro of Faribault, MN and Eli (Nancy Craig) Jandro of Faribault, MN; by sisters-in-law, Betty Raskob Jandro, Joyce and Patricia Jandro; brothers-in-law, Jack Sammon and John (Kay) Raskob and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, infant daughter, Tina, son, Scott Jandro, brothers, Howard, Roger, Cyril and Stanley Jandro, brothers-in-law, George Mullenberg and Jerald Malecha, sister-in-law, Ardis Sammon.
