Dale H. Bischoff

Dale H. Bischoff, age 88 of New Prague, MN and formerly of Vergas, MN passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center in New Prague following an extended illness.

Private family graveside services will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.

Dale Herbert, the son of Herbert and Helen (Schrupp) Bischoff was born on November 26, 1935 in Vergas, MN. He attended Frazee Forum High School and then served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1957 when he was honorably discharged. On June 22, 1956 he was united in marriage to Darlene Haugen in Pelican Rapids, MN. Darlene preceded him in death on July 8, 2018. After his discharge, Dale began a 36 year career as an Electronics Engineer with the FAA. Dale and Darlene enjoyed fishing, camping and all the thrilling activities thru camping, they traveled much of the country looking for their next adventure, then in later years loved spending their winters in Panama City Beach, FL.

He is survived by his children, Debbie (Dave) Burton of Sioux Falls, SD, DeAnn Rasmussen of Elko New Market, MN, Darla Heggemeyer of New Prague, MN and David (Andrea) Bischoff of Pelican Rapids, MN; by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; by his sister, Marilyn (Ronald) Hoffman of Vergas, MN and by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
