Cordula B. Bahe, age 94, of Faribault, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church at Sacred Heart in Faribault. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the services. Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home of Faribault. Cordula Barbara Ruhland, the daughter of Frank and Magdaline (Ackerman) Ruhland, was born on February 22, 1915 in Eden Valley, MN. She was married to Roger Bahe on September 15, 1936 in Union Hill, MN. He preceded her in death on November 10, 1972. Cordula was a homemaker for her family and worked cleaning houses. She also cooked at McKinley Elementary, was a candy maker and sold candy for Mealey's and worked in the kitchen at Lavender Inn. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Third Order of St. Francis. Cordula enjoyed time with her family, sewing, and gardening. She volunteered for many causes and was very involved with her church, including the BeFriender Ministry. She is survived by seven children, James Bahe of Faribault, Marjorie (Clifford) Chester of Rochester, Carole (Clayton) Ferrier of Rochester, Conrad (Ardyce) Bahe of Owatonna, John (Debbie) Bahe of Owatonna, Frank (Ronna) Bahe of Faribault, and Patti Blow of Faribault; 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Mildred Baltes of Jordan; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers, Felix, Jerome, and Walter Ruhland; sister, Marie Binczik; granddaughter Lynda Kay Bahe; and son-in-law, Kenn Blow.
