Cindy B. Caron-Reim, age 63, of Faribault, MN, passed away January 7, 2015, at her home following an extended illness.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault, with Rev. Craig Breimhorst, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault at a later date.
Memorial visitation will be held on Monday from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cindy Berene was born on February 5, 1951 in Faribault to Keith and Florence (Denison) Lyman. She graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1969 and later obtained an associates degree. Cindy married Daniel H. Caron on February 14, 1969, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. Dan preceded her in death on November 10, 1998. Cindy worked for 16 years at Rice County Social Services. On August 20, 2010, she married Robert A. Reim in Owatonna. Cindy loved to read and garden. Most of all, she cherished her time with her family and would go to all lengths to be there for them. She was a great friend to many at Rice County Social Services and the community.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Reim; daughter, Dana Ryan (Doni Topness); step-son, Jacob (Courtney) Reim; mother-in-law, Shirley Reim; grandchildren, Carly Ryan, and Dominic, Marianna, and Kayleigh Reim; brother, Tim Lyman (Dar); in-laws, Audrey Bjorklund, Linda (Leroy) Vold, Lawrence Caron, Mike Caron (Pam Frye), Tom (Melanie) Caron, Becky (Randy) Larson, and Richard Reim; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan; parents, Keith and Florence; brothers, Dennis Lyman, Jon Lyman, and Kenneth Lyman in infancy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Faribault Area Hospice or the donor's choice in memory of Cindy.
