Christopher Corbett

Christopher D. Corbett, age 53 of Ellendale, MN passed away quietly amongst family and friends on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna, MN following an extended illness.

Christopher David, the son of Dawn Iverson was born on February 20, 1970 in Brooklyn Park, MN.  He attended the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf until eleventh grade and graduated from Faribault Senior High School with the class of 1992.  Chris was a traveler and his travels would take him all across the country.  He would work various jobs when he settled in different cities, most of the time he volunteered helping the homeless.  He enjoyed photography, traveling, pow wows, drumming and telling stories.

He is survived by his mother Dawn (Spencer) Iverson of Ellendale, MN; by his brother, Ross Corbett of Faribault, MN; by three stepsisters, Holly (Nick) Weis of Faribault, MN, Jenny (Anthony) Koziolek of Geneva, MN and Angie (Brad) Vogt of Owatonna, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Opal Stokes.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
