Christopher L. Chappuis, age 28 of Lonsdale, MN passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Patrick, 7525 Dodd Road, Faribault, with Fr. Tom Niehaus officiating. Interment will be held at St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery with military honors provided by the Rice County Central Veterans Organization.
Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.
Christopher Lee, the son of Lee and Ann (Thomas) Chappuis, was born on February 20, 1992 in Faribault. He attended Faribault Senior High School and graduated with the class of 2010. Following high school Chris served in the U.S. Army and when his service time was complete, he returned to Faribault and began a career in the construction industry. He first worked for Dahn Construction in Rosemount, MN and most recently was working for Nova Frost Construction Company in Inver Grove Heights, MN. Chris enjoyed many activities including, fishing, hunting, playing video games, collecting and watching the Twins. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was definitely a Mopar man.
He is survived by his parents, Ann (Kenny) Gregor of Faribault and Lee Chappuis of Faribault; by his daughter, Tenley Krenske of Faribault; by his special friend, Stephanie Bursik of Lonsdale, MN; by his siblings, Makenzie Bussert and fiancé John Wedrickas of Houston, TX, Luke Gregor and fiancé Abby Scherfenberg, Aaron Gregor and Emily Gregor, all of Faribault; by his paternal grandmother, Janice Chappuis of Faribault and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glen and Agnes Thomas, paternal grandfather, Gordon “Bud” Chappuis and aunt, Lisa Chappuis.
