Christie Bronstad

Christie J. Bronstad, age 57 of Faribault, MN died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at her home following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with the Rev. Mark Johnson officiating.  Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Christie Jean, the daughter of Raymond Sr. and Donna (Evenson) Bronstad, was born on February 14, 1962 in Faribault.  She graduated from Marshall University High School in Dinkytown, Minneapolis and then attended the University of Minnesota.  She was a Nursing Assistant at Central Care in Northeast Minneapolis.  Christie starred in a couple of small films and TV shows in the 80’s.  Later she worked at different businesses over the years in Owatonna and Faribault.  She enjoyed playing the guitar, watching old VHS movies, listening to old LP records and shopping at the Dollar Store.

She is survived by her mother, Donna Logan of Pocasset, OK; by five siblings, Roberta Jones of Bismarck, MO, Raymond Bronstad Jr., Joseph Bronstad and Melody Van Houdt all of Owatonna, MN and Annette Lally of Pocasset, OK; by nieces and nephews, Amanda Winkelman and Aaron Winkelman of Faribault, Jessica Van Houdt of Owatonna, Stephany Bronstad of Faribault, Christopher Bronstad of Faribault, Misty Jenkins of Hillsboro, MO, Blake Bronstad of Norwood Young America, Daniel Heinen of Minneapolis, Katelynn Bronstad of Waseca, Mike Hirdler, Aren, Sarena, Alivia and Sabastian Lally of Pocasset, OK; by great nieces and nephews, Dalton, Mason, Winter, Emilie and by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Raymond Bronstad Sr.
