Christian Canales

Christian Canales, age 27, of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2024.

Christian Xavier was born on August 2, 1996, in Houston, TX, the son of Ana Canales and Ruben Melchor.  Christian was one of the sweetest people you ever met.  He was a great son, brother, friend, and a genuinely kindhearted human being with a beautiful soul.  He was extremely smart and taught himself how to play the guitar, something he loved to do.  He was always helping his siblings and friends with schoolwork.  Christian also loved gaming and his cats.  He was loved by many.  He will forever live on in our hearts and will forever be missed.  An amazing, beautiful soul gone too soon and will forever be remembered.

He is survived by his mother, Ana Canales (Javier Martinez Jr.); father, Ruben Melchor; siblings, Javier Martinez III, Desiree Rodriguez, and Daymon Martinez; his grandmothers, Maricela San Miguel, and Julie Melchor; his girlfriend, Monique Trump; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sibling, Donna Rodriguez and great grandmother, Carolina Mendiola.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault.  A link will be provided below to watch the livestream of the visitation.

Interment will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault at a later date.
