Charlotte V. Perron, age 90, of Faribault, MN, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault
on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to services.
The family prefers that memorials be directed to the charity of the donor's choice in memory of Charlotte.
Charlotte Viola was born on July 16, 1924 to Charles and Mary (Meyer) Lenhoff in Randolph, Nebraska. She was a graduate of the St. Francis School in Randolph.
She was united in marriage to Lionel Perron on November 20, 1944 at St. Francis Catholic Church by Father Kaup. They moved to Faribault where they farmed in Walcott Township, Rice County for many years. She also worked at Foldcraft and then at McQuay's where she retired after 25 years of service.
Lionel preceded her in death on October 8, 1974.
Charlotte enjoyed playing cards, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars 1562 Auxiliary and Marching Unit and the Eagles Auxiliary 1460.
She is survived by four children, Dotty Huber of Faribault, MN and her children, Terri (Lillian Cooper) Huber of Rochester, MN, Dede (Tom) VonRuden, Brian (Vickie) Huber, and Jill (Randy) Boudreau, all of Faribault, MN; Wally (Sylvia) Perron of Cleveland, MN and their children, Sara (Bill) Theis of Owatonna, MN, Scott (Abbie) Perron of Prior Lake, MN, Abby (Brandon) Hager of St., Peter, MN; Bonnie Hoefer and her stepchildren, Guy G. Hoefer (and his fiancé, Melanie Goodridge) of Tewksbury, MA and Bonnie (Hal) Gannon of Lowell, MA; David (Debbie) Perron of Eagan, MN and their children, Jessi (Jason) Hackenmueller of Eagan, MN and Jon (Brooke) Perron of Lakeville, MN; and the children of her daughter, the late Judy Dickison Noland, Paul Dickison of Faribault, MN, Kim (Bob) Hagen of Waseca, MN, Tami (Pat) LaCanne and Sherry Dickison and her fiancé Ryan Langer of Faribault, MN; 29 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, one sister, Rosemary (Donovan) Pflanz of Randolph, NE , two sisters-in-law, Marie Lenhoff and Frances Lenhoff of Randolph, NE, many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel; parents, Charles and Mary Lenhoff; one daughter, Judy Dickison Noland; three sons-in-law, Robert Dickison, Michael Huber, Robert Guy Hoefer; six brothers, Harold (Fern) Lenhoff, Burness (Frances) Lenhoff, Donald Lenhoff, Virgil (Verlene) Lenhoff, Charles Lenhoff, Richard (Corinne) Lenhoff; three sisters Marina (Delbert) Gubbels, Evelyn (Robert) Kunz, Ellen (Leonard) Gubbels; and her long time companion Lester Van Thomme.
