Bruce W. Noland, age 65, of Faribault, died Saturday, September 11, 2010 at his home following an extended illness. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, with Rev. Henry Doyle, officiating. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Memorial visitation will be on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Bruce Wayne Noland, the son of Harold and Issabel (Jensen) Noland, was born on March 1, 1945 in Cheyenne, WY. He attended school in Wyoming and Faribault High School. Bruce served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Barbara Kelly and they had a daughter, Bobbi Jo. They were later divorced. Bruce worked at the Faribault State Hospital as a Human Services Technician for 30 years. He later married Judy Perron. Bruce enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. Bruce is survived by his wife, Judy Dickison Noland of Faribault; daughter, Bobbi Jo (Ray) Hemenway and grandson, Jesse Woodson, of Albert Lea; step-children, Paul Dickison, Kim (Bob) Haugen, Tammy (Pat) LaCanne, Sherri Dickison, and their families; brother, John (Donna) Noland of Kenyon; sister, Melodee Noland of Faribault; special friends, Dick and Donna Sepin, Terri Huber, Vicki and Chad Grams and their children, Ryan and Casey, and Jan Weinberger; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sherry Noland Shea; brother-in-law, Michael Huber; and special friend, Dave Stadler.
