Beverly Nesvik

Beverly C. Nesvik, age 89 of Faribault, MN passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Benedictine Living Community in Owatonna, MN following an extended illness.

Beverly Christine, the daughter of Richard and Anna (Johnson) Larson was born on June 16, 1935 in Prentice, WI. She attended Prentice High School and graduated with the class of 1953. On October 20, 1957 she was united in marriage to Lauris “Andy” Nesvik in Mankato, MN. Beverly stayed at home to raise their family. She was a charter member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Faribault, serving on the church council and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was a lifelong member of the Eastern Star, serving as an officer on both the local and state levels. Bev also enjoyed gardening and traveling with Andy to all parts of the world.

She is survived by her husband Lauris “Andy” Nesvik of Faribault, MN; by her children, Jean (Mark) Stassen and Glenn (Krista) Nesvik, both of Faribault, MN; by four grandchildren, Benjamin (Rachael) Stassen of White Bear Lake, MN, Samuel (Kayla) Stassen of Elysian, MN, Sarah (Tyrone) Johnson of Faribault, MN and David (Meghan) Nesvik of Lakeville, MN; by five great grandchildren; by her brother, Ronald (Annette) Larson of Prentice, WI and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter and by her brother, Allan Larson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the First English Lutheran Church in Faribault with Rev. Mark Johnson officiating. Interment will be held at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the church on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Masonic Cancer Center in memory of Beverly.
