Bernadette Plante

Bernadette L. Plante, age 88 of Faribault, died Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Ivy Hill Senior Care Home in Faribault.             Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, at Sacred Heart in Faribault. Interment will be held at the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault.             Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.             Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault.             Bernadette Lilas Plante, the daughter of Arthur and Hedwedge (Lambert) Plante, was born on June 15, 1920 in Faribault. She attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1938. After her schooling Bernadette moved to St. Paul and worked for 38 years at Brown and Bigelow in the Novelty Department. She moved back to Faribault in 1996 to be closer to her family.             She is survived by her brother Lambert Plante of St. Paul, MN; by her sister, Elaine LeMieux of Faribault and by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.             She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Wilfred Plante and by two sisters, Laura Anderson and Olive Soeters.
