Benita Reyes

Benita Soto Reyes, age 90 of Faribault, passed away, surrounded by her family on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the District One Hospital in Faribault following a short illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday January 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, in Faribault. Interment will be held at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.

Memorial visitation will be held at Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Tuesday January 16, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Benita was born in Laredo, Texas on November 4, 1927. She was united in marriage to Luis Reyes in Laredo, Texas. Luis preceded her in death on October 23, 2008. Benita was a homemaker for her family, cleaning, cooking, and taking care of her kids was her joy. Benita enjoyed going to northern Minnesota to take in the nature, especially the flowers, playing Bingo with friends, listening to music, spending time with friends and later in life spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Roberto Reyes (Heather Kadrlik) of Biwabik, MN, Delfino Reyes of Rock Creek, MN, Rebecca Reyes ( Fredy Sedeno) of Albertville, MN, Rosalinda Reyes ( Daniel Delgado) of Faribault, Sandra Montemayor and Mary Lou Soto, both of Huston, TX; her 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
