Barbara Jeno

Barbara L. Jeno, age 79, of Faribault, MN, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault.

Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Barbara Leona was born on March 20, 1940 in Stockholm, Sweden to Charles and Arvilla (Cox) Enbom.  Following WWII in 1945, her family immigrated to the United States, settling in North Dakota and later moving to Faribault.  Barb worked at Wimpy’s in Faribault and farmed for 30 years.  She then worked in patient care at the Faribault Regional Center and Innisfail for many years.  She later worked at Walmart until her retirement at age 77.  Barb enjoyed beadwork, arts and crafts, doing puzzles, reading books, playing games on the computer, and eating her sweets.  She loved her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Lynn (Dan) Hall of Faribault, Cathy Jeno of Faribault, Tom (Cathy) Jeno of Lonsdale, MN, Todd (Tsion) Jeno of Doha, Qatar, Julie (Nathan) Tupa of Dundas, MN, James “Louie” Jeno of Faribault, and Mark (Emily) Jeno of Faribault; 14 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Sandra of California; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Arvilla; sons, Anthony, Charles, and Mathew; daughter, Martha; two brothers, Duane and Clark; and two sisters, Anna Mae and Sonja.
