Anita J. Wynnemer age 86, of Janesville, died peacefully on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Janesville Nursing Home.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church, Rev. Larry Griffin and Rev. Paul Muther, officiating. Interment will be held at the Janesville Cemetery. Memorial preferred to Mayo Clinic Hospice. Arrangements are with the Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home of Janesville.
Anita Wynnemer was born on March 20, 1930 in Shakopee, MN to John and Pearl (Brubaken) Rahbek. She graduated from Mapleton High School with the Class of 1948. Anita furthered her education at the College of Medical Technology in Minneapolis.
Anita worked for many years as a lab technician while raising her family in St. Louis, MO. In 1974 she moved her family to Janesville and began working at Brown Printing until retirement. In her retirement Anita enjoyed working as a hospice volunteer.
Anita was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed many activities, especially, gardening, cooking and sewing. Her family fondly remembers her gift for entertaining her family and friends. A special message Anita leaves behind for her family and friends, "Love One Another Always and Have Great Faith".
Anita is survived by her son, Daniel (Violet) Wynnemer of Fredonia, WI; daughter, Gail Wynnemer of Janesville; granddaughter, Jenine (Tim) Peterson of Janesville; 2 great grandchildren: Destiny and Ezekiel Peterson; sister, Patricia Keller of Mankato; 5 nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Nigel Wynnemer.
