Angeline Lemieux

Angeline M. LeMieux, age 94, of Faribault, passed away, Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive in Faribault. Interment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Angeline Margaret, the daughter of Theodore and Mary (Becker) Kitzman, was born on August 12, 1922 in Faribault. She attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1939. On February 11, 1942 she was united in marriage to Napoleon LeMieux at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Faribault. Napoleon preceded her in death on May 18, 1969. For many years Angeline did house cleaning for various families in Faribault and also worked for many years at LeMieux's Resort on Cedar Lake. Angeline also worked at the Moose Lodge and most recently had been working as a greeter at Wal-Mart in Faribault. She enjoyed sewing, working in her garden and flower garden and especially enjoyed spending time with all of her family. She was a member of the Moose Lodge Auxiliary and the Divine Mercy Catholic Church CCW.

She is survived by her children, Mary Jo Chapman of Morristown, MN and Donald (Lisa) LeMieux of Kilkenny, MN; by her daughter-in-law, Peggy LeMieux of Faribault, MN; by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and by a great great granddaughter; by her sister Helen Beucler of Faribault, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, David LeMieux, by an infant grandson, Korbin LeMieux, by a brother in infancy, by three brothers, Stephen Kitzman, Joseph Kitzman and Theodore Kitzman Jr., by four sisters, Margaret Rost, Dorothy Paro, Mary Perron and Marcella Sweeney and by son-in-law, Wally Chapman.
