Andy was born on May 26, 1991 in Faribault. He was an avid outdoorsman. He was always outside, whether it was fishing, hunting, or trapping, he loved the seasons of Minnesota. In grade school, he was involved in Scouting and loved exploring on the family farm. He loved camping and finding new places to fish and hunt. He brought home a new puppy every year since he learned how to drive. In high school he loved the woodworking classes and has filled up his parents' home with all the items he made.
Andy met and fell in love with Brittany Bauleke. In 2011, they welcomed their son, Hunter David Bice. It was the proudest moment of his life. He loved sharing his pictures with family and friends and couldn't wait to show Hunter the world. He loved his Grandma Mostrom's pancakes and his Grandma Bice's cookies. Andy was a good big brother, very protective and always teaching them new things. He had a lot of family and friends who he loved spending time with and could always make them laugh.
His past jobs including cooking at St. Olaf and Mankato State, but he missed being outdoors. This past spring, Andy became certified to smoke chase and help put out wildfires. In the summer, he spent a few weeks in Idaho working on their wildfires and in September worked in northern Minnesota on the wild fires there. He wanted to get further training so that he could do more to help the beautiful world he loved.
He is survived by his one-year old son, Hunter David Bice and special friend, Brittany Bauleke of LeCenter; parents, Linette and David Bice of rural Faribault; sister, Chelsea and brother, Alex, both at home; maternal grandmother, Janet Mostrom and aunt Jolene, who loved him as if he was hers; maternal grandfather, William (Debbie) Mostrom; maternal great grandmother, Phyllis Stadler; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Frank Stadler; paternal grandparents, George and Elenore Bice; and uncle, Ray Bice.
