Ambrose J. Thomas

Ambrose J. Thomas, age 87 of Faribault, MN passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at The Emeralds at Faribault. 

Ambrose Joseph, the son of Peter and Anna (Steinmentz) Thomas, was born on March 11, 1937 in New Market, MN. Ambrose was united in marriage to Mary Culp on May 2, 1959 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Faribault. He worked for Nutting Truck & Castor Co. for many years before working for the Faribault Woolen Mill and the Faribault West Mall. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed playing cards, hosting garage sales, and spending time with his family.

Ambrose is survived by his significant other, Diane Barnett; brother, Alvin Thomas; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William, Sylvester, and Elmer; sisters, Alvina Kotek, Dorothy Carpenter, and Genevieve March; and an infant brother, Leander.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 11:30 on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
