Amber Orsow

Amber Lynn Van Orsow, age 27, of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the District One Hospital in Faribault.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive in Faribault. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.

Memorial visitation will be held at the new location of Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, MN on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm and at the church on Monday for one hour prior to services.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

Amber Lynn, the daughter of Paul and Denise (Carver) Van Orsow, was born on October 5, 1989 in Minneapolis, MN. She attended Faribault Senior High School and graduated with the class of 2008. After high school Amber assisted her mother with her day care business and was also a personal care attendant for her twin brother, Andrew. Amber was a kind and thoughtful young woman who always thought of others first. She loved arts and crafts and would always make a special craft gift for family members and friends. She enjoyed musicals, listening to music and had the unique talent of being able to play music by ear. As a high school student Amber went on mission trips with Divine Mercy Catholic Church and later would serve as an adult chaperone on those same trips. Amber also enjoyed photography, observing the weather - always wanting to be a storm chaser, adult coloring group and playing bingo every Wednesday night with her Mom.

She is survived by her parents, Paul and Denise Van Orsow of Faribault, MN; by her twin brother Andrew Van Orsow of Faribault, MN; by paternal grandmother, Dolores Van Orsow of Faribault, MN; by her special cousin, Erin Carver of Faribault, MN and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Duane Van Orsow; by maternal grandparents, Delores and John Carver and by her uncle Terry Harck.
