Alverna Balfour

Alverna Mae Balfour, age 86 of Concord, CA and formerly of Faribault, MN passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2009.             Graveside services will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault, MN on Friday, April 17, 2009.             Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, MN.             Alverna was born on June 22, 1922 in Des Lacs, North Dakota to Sylvia and William Balfour. She graduated from the University of Minnesota. She is a Past Matron of the Athens Chapter #82, O.E.S., Faribault, MN and a member of St. Martin of Tours Anglican Church. Memorial gifts may be given to St. Martin Church, 5294 Concord Blvd., Concord, CA 94521 or Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
