Adeline T. Anderson, age 87, of Faribault, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Heritage of Edina Assisted Living Community in Edina, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault, with Fr. Erik Lundgren, officiating. Interment will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis on Wednesday. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault. Adeline Theresa Kasparek was born on July 2, 1924 in Wheatland Township, Rice County, MN to Frank and Annie (Peterka) Kasparek. On January 22, 1944 she married Forrest Anderson at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. They farmed for many years in the Wells Township area of Rice County. She and her husband also owned and operated Anderson's Resort on French Lake for fourteen years. Forrest preceded her in death on October 29, 1995. Adeline was a homemaker for much of her life. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, and former member of Faribault Eagle's Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and the French Lake Association. She is survived by three daughters, Lonna Anderson and husband Hal Smith of Destin, FL, Patricia Anderson and husband Marc Grafslund of Edina, MN, and Cheryl Anderson of Hopkins, MN; by two grandchildren, Andrew and Nicolette Sharp and their father James Sharp; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest; parents; two brothers, Archie and Frank Kasparek; and two sisters-in-law, Lorraine and Elsie Kasparek. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the choice of the donor.
