Addis M. Jeno, age 92, of Faribault, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Oak Terrace Assisted Living Facility in Mankato. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Dr., Faribault, with Rev. Kevin Finnegan, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and on Monday for one hour prior to the services at the church. Addis Mary Odette, the daughter of Fredrick and Laura (Duffney) Odette, was born on May 9, 1918 in Webster, MN. She was raised and attended school in Hazelwood. Addis married Fredrick Jeno on January 2, 1936 at the St. Patrick's Church in Shieldsville. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1987. They farmed for many years in Shieldsville Township, Rice County. Addis was a homemaker, raising 12 children on the farm. Family was of great importance to her and she cherished the holidays and gatherings with her family. Addis enjoyed sewing and quilting and was a member of the Mission Sewing Group. She was dedicated to her faith and was a member of the Rosary Society. She is survived by eight children, Richard (Betty) Jeno of Lonsdale, Marlene (William) Robinson of Waseca, Arnold (Harriet) Jeno of Lonsdale, Darlene Pritchard of Faribault, Charlotte (Ronald Sr.) Wobschall of Waterville, Yvonne Jeno of Faribault, Veronica (James) Hausen of Faribault, and Terry Jeno of Faribault; two daughters-in-law, Shirley Jeno of Montgomery, and Jane Jeno of Calif.; son-in-law, Terry (Laurie) Conway of Waseca; 34 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and step great grandchildren; brother, Virgil (Del) Odette of Farmington; four sisters, Delores Pearson of Des Moines, IA, Valora (Milton) Moravec of Northfield, Delena York of Bixby, OK, and Patricia (Obert) Flikke of Winnebago, IA; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick Jeno Sr.; parents; two sons, Fredrick Jr. and Conrad Jeno; two daughters, Sylvia Jeno and Sandra Conway; five grandsons; one great grandson; sister, Theresa Lewandowski; two brothers, Arnold and William Odette; and a brother in infancy, Sonny Odette.
