Michael Novak

Michael J. Novak, age 54 of Faribault, MN passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 17, 2019 at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive in Faribault, with Fr. Brandon Theisen officiating.  Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.

Memorial visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Michael Joseph, the son of Milo and Janna (Gasner) Novak, was born on February 14, 1965 in Owatonna, MN.  He attended Medford High School and graduated with the class of 1983.  After high school Mike attended Mankato Community College and earned his Associates Degree.  Mike worked for many years as the manager at the Super America gas station in Faribault and later was the manager at the Kwik Trip in Burnsville.  In his free time Mike enjoyed playing bingo, going to movies and going to the casino.

He is survived by his mother, Janna Novak of Faribault; by his sister, Chantelle (Cory) Drietz and their son, Connor of Linwood, NC and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Milo Novak on Dec. 29, 2006.
